Diesel engines produce a variety of emission particles due to incomplete combustion. Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) are positioned in the exhaust stream and capture most of these particles. As a result, the filters themselves require periodic cleaning. Various technologies exist for cleaning and/or rejuvenating DPF’s which include thermal regeneration (baking), pressure washing, and adding chemicals to your fuel to clean the filter as the engine operates.
Magnus Engineered Equipment is proud to have assisted our customer in developing a process for washing DPF’s. The process utilizes unique chemistry and MEE’s equipment which provides exceptional agitation and turbulation, and it has been so successful that this customer has purchased it’s 2nd washing system from MEE in the past year. We at MEE enjoy assisting our customers solve difficult cleaning problems and encourage them to engage us, when clean matters!
